This vibrant wildflower can be found in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. A member of the Fabaceae family, the Lupine can grow in a variety of colors like purple, blue, red, pink, and yellow. The Lupine was once thought to drain all nutrients from the surrounding soil, which is why their common name is derived from the Latin word for Wolf.
