This vibrant perennial can be found in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The Fritillaria Pudica, or Yellow Bell, is often the first plant to flower after the snow melts, but its flowers do not last long. Their bulbs can be dug up and eaten fresh or cooked, but today these plants are less common so eating them is discouraged.
